David Flaherty CEO and Founder

David Flaherty is CEO and founder of Magellan Strategies.  Since Magellan Strategies inception in 2006, David has overseen the tremendous growth of Magellan in all product and service areas including political and consumer data analysis, quantitative and qualitative survey research, modeling and predictive analytics, and a national voter registration database of 185 million registered voters.  Prior to forming Magellan Strategies David worked in Washington DC for 14 years, from 1992 to 2006. During that time, David worked at the Republican National Committee, Americans for Prosperity, the US House of Representatives, and public affairs firms.  David’s career path over many years has taught him data collection, database management, survey research, voter targeting and political and government affairs campaign management.  David has consulted more than 50 political and grassroots campaigns across the country.  He is an expert in applying survey research, Census and political data demography, GIS and redistricting technology, and statistical and predictive analysis to make better decisions in the political, business and government affairs arena. David is a 1991 graduate of the University of Delaware and resides in Broomfield, Colorado with his wife Jennifer and their two sons Jack and Bobby.
